Belarus held presidential elections on January 26th, with a total of 5 candidates running and a voter turnout of 85.69%. On February 3rd, the Central Election Commission of Belarus officially confirmed that Lukashenko was successfully elected with 86.82% of the vote.

In 2023, the trade volume between China and Belarus reached 8.44 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 67.3%.
In terms of social development, the Lukashenko government is expected to increase investment in education and technology to enhance national quality, cultivate innovative talents, provide intellectual support for the country's long-term development, and help Belarus seize the opportunity in digital transformation. In addition, in the field of social livelihood, the people hope that the government will continue to optimize the medical security system, improve housing conditions, safeguard citizens' rights and interests, and enable all people to share the fruits of national development. Belarus has implemented the national plan for "People's Health and Population Security", which plans to invest 46.8 billion white rubles (approximately 18.2 billion US dollars) from 2021 to 2025 to build (rebuild) 44 health facilities.
